
The curriculum provides the students with the opportunity to earn a total of 15 college credits for the following courses:
- Medical Terminology (3 credits)
- Dynamics of Health and Society (3 credits)
- Anatomy and Physiology (4 credits)
- Sports Injury Management/Emergency and Clinical Care (2 credits)
- Scientific Principles of Nutrition (3 credits)
The college credit is granted to the student upon high school graduation, if course credit is earned.

The goals of the program are to:
- Assist in achieving the health work force needs of the State;
- Promote the concept of the health care team as essential to patient well-being;
- Assist in creating a health work force that has ethnic and gender diversity;
- Promote a broadly trained health practitioner who will meet the needs for future new health professionals;
- Provide students with strong foundation in science, communication, and health care system;
- Enhance quality high school to college articulation.
